Making Friends with Paper

by Marie Culver on March 22, 2010

Lesson three of Organize Your Paper from Simplify 101 was released this morning. I’m only going to be able to partially act upon the ideas this week, being about to move, but I’m still pleased with the workshop. The ideas continue to be both appealing and usable by the average person. Neither a glorified hard sell or excessively generic advice.

Where the last lesson was more about making decisions on papers – whether to junk, act upon, or store – this lesson is about actually going through with decisions made for the individual papers. I particularly like that this lesson comes with an extra reading material about different ways of making organizations systems more personal, both functionally and decoratively.

I did order a paper shredder last week, online, and while I missed the initial delivery, I scheduled with the post office to have it redelivered tomorrow.
