Close Look at Alabama Snow

by Marie Culver on January 7, 2010

While northern Alabama does sometimes get snow, it rarely sticks, much less piles up more than half an inch. Today though, there was approximately two inch of very white fluff hanging out, and having gotten a chance to not have the kids demanding attention, ran outside with my new Fuji camera. I played around with the “snow” setting on the camera, but the real masterpiece was capturing the fine view of snowflakes on a particular plant with the macro option. It’s nice actually being able to appreciate snow now.
