Beginning the Paper Clutter Attack

by Marie Culver on March 9, 2010

Today I started an online workshop called “Organize Your Paper Clutter”, offered at Simplify 101. It consists of six lessons, with one lesson released per week. The first one lesson is about identifying sources of paper, stopping the in-flow of papers that are both unwanted and unneeded, and setting a goal for fighting paper clutter.

So far, I’m enjoying both the lesson and the overall workshop. The main woman behind it, and the other participants, are friendly and the material is simple but well-explained. Plus the workshop has a sort of checklist setup so you can track actions you’ve done, not just for reading the material but also for making progress with your paper clutter.

On top of following the lessons and participating in the [completely optional] daily action challenge, I intend to give updates on each of the lessons. Not attempting to replicate, just my general opinion and where my progress is at. Like some people post about some diet they try, I’m going to post about a paper “diet” I’m trying. ;)
