About Marie Culver
I was born in 1986 during the late winter in Michigan, a time when it’s cold and soggy outside in Midwest USA. I have lived in a few small communities throughout my elementary, middle, and high school years. During that time, a lot has happened, including realizing there was a name for my beliefs, discovering a love for both nature and computers, and meeting my now-husband. I guess you could say I married my high school sweetheart, though I feel “sweethearts” seems like a way over-romanticized version of modern high school dating. We both graduated high school in 2004 and in 2006, had our first child, a daughter. In 2009, we had our second child, a son.
I built my first web site around 6th grade, a sort of mixed interest website hosted by either Tripod or Angelfire (free banner-supported services) – I don’t recall which came first. It’s been quite a while since then and not only do I now have over ten years of HTML experience, I also have gained knowledge in PHP, MySQL, graphic design, and photography. I own a handful of domains, with most containing original content (but admittedly inspired by a variety of sources). My two main domains being Erythisis.com and MarieCulver.com.
Other hobbies of mine include playing video games, scrapbooking, tropical fishkeeping, and more recently, gardening. I love trying out new stuff and learning about how things work. Sometimes I come across as weird, but I always try to be respectful of others and hold a balanced view on situations.
If you want to interact with me, I accept most friend requests on Facebook. I also will respond to personal mentions of either @MarieCulverCom or @erythisis on Twitter.
